Every bike can use regular maintenence to insure proper function. Regular inspection of the bearings, chain, pads and cables for wear can reduce more costly problems in the future
Repair
If your bicycle needs repair, IBR has the experience and techincal skill to repair almost any issue. From changing a tube to bleeding brakes, to complete drivetrain replacement, your bicycle is in good hands.
Assembly
All new bicycles need proper assembly. At IBR, you can be assured that your new bicycle, whether purchased online or from a bicycle shop, will be assembled properly, and will function to be best of its potential the first time you ride

ABOUT IBR
My name is Andrew Kimball, and I am Independent Bicycle Repair.
I have had a love of bicycles and cycling my entire life. The joy and wonder of a bicycle ride, the freedom to go where ever your legs and imagination could take you, led to a life of first riding then racing bicycles. It did not matter what kind of bike, what kind of race, I loved them all. Road or off road, from the velodrome to the cyclocross course, I loved all of it. At the same time, I had to know how this wonderful machine worked. This led to work as a bicycle mechanic. Even after I stopped racing, and my riding tapered off in the pursuit of other activities, I still was in love with the mechanics of the bicycle. Throughout college, graduate school and beyond, I never stopped working as a mechanic. Even now, after 30 years of working as a professional mechanic, I am still fascinated by bikes. Wether it is a child's first bike, your main form of transportation, or a $15,000 uber race bike, I have the knowledge and experience to take care of it.
